Exam Preparation and Success

We are now focusing on preparing our students for tests and exams. We strive to give them the best possible chance of achieving their individual goals.

There are five teaching weeks until the start of SATs and GCSEs!


Here are a few suggestions to help students’ preparation and success.


Use the tuition time effectively:

  • plan with the tutor

  • know what areas you want to focus on

  • ask questions

  • take full advantage of the time with your tutor


Organise yourself:

  • plan your time with a realistic schedule

  • create a comfortable space to study

  • use active learning techniques e.g. flashcards


Look after yourself:

  • take regular short breaks

  • get enough sleep

  • eat healthily

  • stay hydrated

Consistent planning, healthy routines, and using study time wisely really do make a difference during exam season. I especially liked the reminder about balancing revision with rest, because both are important for performance. Students often underestimate how much structure helps reduce stress. Resources that guide learners step by step, like help me do my assignment, can also support better preparation when deadlines and exams overlap.
