Counting in fours

This is a question thinking about counting in 4s - you can help your child to think about counting in 4s by helping them to see that it is every other answer in the two times table, maybe by colouring in a number square or number line.

Questions that are asking children to count in fours may ask about how many wheels on a certain number of cars, or how many legs on a quantity of animals. You can use this when out and about - count in fours as cars pass, or when looking at a group of sheep, cows or horses!
